Tiggy Winkles Pegasus has been educating children and parents alike, in how much sugar is in a variety of foods and drinks. The display, which can be seen in the main corridor at Pegasus, not only shows popular drink items such as Coca Cola, but also Spaghetti Hoops and Dolmio Pasta Sauce.
The average three-year-old consumes about twelve teaspoons of sugar on a daily basis, but the recommended amount is three to four teaspoons.
1 teaspoon is about 4.2grams.
